I’ve done moderation for official game servers and discords, and I also had some staff who would do things like this. Whenever abuse of power occurred, that moderator will be temporarily suspended and demoted.
In my time there was also nepotism between some moderators and the discord/game owners when I was a moderator, which basically means if vetex shows favoritism, then Azure won’t be punished. They are supposed to be punished.
The moderators seem more like friends to vetex rather being actual moderators, which is not a good or bad thing, just to be clear. But this likely shows that the majority of the moderators won’t really be good at moderation.
Based on my judgement, banning someone for spoiling some story is really childish. The moderators with poor judgement need to be corrected, because a good moderator is supposed to have good judgement.
Improving the moderation team will be hard, and it should probably be up to vetex (not the mod supervisors). If he wants to, then improving moderation will probably happen after AO’s release. If vetex doesn’t want to, then there’s nothing we can really do about it.

so many mods are so ass, i could name several which ive had the most dumbass encounters with or sometimes getting ghosted for unfair bans with no response even after a dozen dms throughout months, they’ll never ban the tester who did the same thing

vetex did let quite a number of “trusted lads” go in 2018, so something like this could probably happen again albeit a bit rough if he were to do it (also take this with a grain of salt since i dont know the full context behind him letting a lot of trusted lads go)

if he wanted to make the mods look bad he couldve at least did something on the discord where everyone actually know who they are
its his problem and some of you probably dont know who either of them are
this doesnt matter to me as even level doesnt really care, but if you want to talk about it maybe contact shade directly
