ive dont a bunch of mythical last steps and it has never been like this
it is one, 22 chests. The difference here is that your friend dug them up in a really tight grid, rather than spaced out
no im pretty sure that’s more or less the right amount of chests
It’s just the matter of where they dug it up
edit: half a second too late 
once i had 2 charts going to the exact same spot making me dig up some random common or rare chart before progressing my mythical one
