They’re abusing the profile dupe glitch. By some method, they are able to duplicate a profile with good items in it onto the 2nd or 3rd file. Then they use an alt to transfer items back to the main file. Then they deleted the duped file and dupe the new main file.
Not sure if there is a guaranteed method of purposely getting the profile dupe glitch, but most likely the exploiters are using some script to force this to happen.
It this was the way they do it, then it’s impossible for Vetex to fix it, since he can’t fix the profile dupe glitch.
My friend has 4 sunken swords on his main file, and that file got duped so he lost his lightning file. Now he has 8 sunken swords.
What do you guys think? Has Vetex gotten the script already? He says he has, but why is it taking so long to fix? He even disabled shop trading via selling and buying an item.
At this point Trading should just not be apart of the game. The dupe glitch is a huge problem towards the game and with this glitch you basically can have infinite money by duping items, transferring them to your main, and then selling them.
Trading is going to be extremely important later on in the game when the grinds are very long and enchants take forever and a half to get the correct one of. Not to mention when rare items such as lost spell scrolls or whatever the hell else come out.
Imagine having a spare magic arm scroll and not being able to trade it for something else.
While this is the most plausible way, there may be more than one way.
Remember that one dumbass who spammed a “duping method” all across the forum, right?
Maybe that might be correct, even if I’m not tempted to do it as I might get banned.
by now there is a high chance there are actually no “script”. its just exploiting the game bugs to dupe the item. so what vetex needs to find is not a “script” but a “method”. and until now he cant find or cant reproduce the method he know, maybe because the requirement is very conditional, or the method is just inconsistent, or its almost unfixable like the save file dupe. i say almost because if this is the case, vetex need to find the fix one way or the other lmao.
