This is from someone who has the HOT gamepass and assuming you’re using the best tempo with overclock for the host, also keep in mind that there isn’t really any bad host in hours (except subject, fuck you subject.)

Dreamer
This one is pretty self-explanatory, dreamer with oc zero is the strongest host in the game and destroys seconds, if you spam q fast enough you can beat bloxxer before he even gets to fall from the sky again
Drifter
This one is not very self-explanatory but it hits like a truck close range and it has a pretty good ranged move with a summon ability, it also has pretty good speed with a dash move so its worthy of S tier imo (might be biased because ronin is my favorite boss)
Hot Rash
The AK-47 ability is broken op, not much else to say, with oc rush you can kill any enemy quickly.
Prophet
Ah yes prophet, if drifter hits like a truck then prophet hits like a fucking tank. It has a regen move, a mobility move, and one of the highest damage moves in the game, this guy is amazing and I would have put him in S if it wasn’t for his slow speed and shitty hitboxes. The best tempo to use for him is halt despite everyone saying its star, if you use halt you have enough time to one shot everything by m1s too.
Artisan
oc zero with support unit spam. That’s literally it.
Bloxxer
Lets start this out by saying that bloxxer is underrated as fuck. People say its the “worst host” when with oc mood it can basically perma stun EVERYTHING, that’s on top of doing a shit ton of damage. The slow movement speed for once doesn’t really matter when everything else is gonna be slowed to a halt.
Parting
I’m gonna be honest, I haven’t really played with parting enough to give a solid ranking but from what I’ve seen with oc zion its really good, it does a lot of damage and is fast as fuck, its how I unlocked bloxxer.
Equinox
Like bloxxer, equinox is hella underrated. Its lifesteal lets you become immortal and with halt you have the easiest seconds strategy you can get without HOT.
Buffoon
This guy is really good at tempo oc farming, put him in a multiplayer mode with a dreamer and other good teammates for a free win, his attacks are all ranged with a mobility but they do a lot of damage, just be careful what upgrades you chose because if you get aspect of shade and aspect of god your clone will be harder than vestige.
Witness
I never really liked this guy, even with oc zero i think he’s just kind of meh, his speed is so low that he’s basically a glass cannon despite having a decent amount of hp, if you use him right he can be pretty op but that’s the same with any other host in the game.
Vestige
This guy is really good, however his one MAJOR weakness is that he’s really good. His clone will end your life instantly if you don’t have jump or that one upgrade that decreases his accuracy but shoots 2 shots.
That’s right, you have to nerf yourself to win with this guy.
Hellion
You know what I’m about to say here, he has probably the highest damage move in the game besides invader’s execution (which I don’t really count because its completely situational) but he has the lowest hp in the game (20). He will die to resident if he gets looked at the wrong way, however if you use jump he’s pretty good, so I’ll give him this.
Invader
This one is self-explanatory as well, he’s the first guy you get when you play the game, nothing too special. He does have the highest damage move in the game which is pretty good but its not practical at all because you need oc dive to get it to deal really high damage.
Visitor
Probably the most shocking placement for a host on this list, but i just think that he doesn’t do anything to be better than the ones above him, he’s still really good but he just fell behind the others.
Subject
Fuck subject. I don’t give a fuck how powerful it is, It should not make me read the fucking wiki to have to use it correct enough for it to be decent.
