comparing fire to the magic that has been buffed arguably the most to make it somewhat viable is wild (plasma is good, I don’t hate it as much as I hate wood)

Explosion has annoying visuals and imbue, but that’s basically it, so it should prob be in A

Earth and Explosion share the same AOE and clash well, but that’s about it. Earth is slow as all hell, procs bleed (if it does over a third of enemy hp), and does good damage. Explosion is decently fast, puts on a wonderful heat catalyst, and does ok damage.
I wouldn’t personally call them S tier, A tier fits them better. They’re decently carried by the high AOE, however I see much more usage of Metal when it comes to high-damage high-aoe magics.
Decently high damage and size with a bit lower than average speed, imbues are decent. While its clashing isn’t the best, it has great synergies. 10% damage bonus on nearly every heat effect (bar scorching) and only negative modifiers on crystallized (
) and soaked.
Plasma remains unaddressed. This part isn’t even bias, it’s bewilderment at the fact you placed Fire two tiers above Plasma. Their stats are similar - Plasma has 0.025 damage less and .1 less size in exchange for .25 speed, which is a good trade off. DOTs have similar total damage with a 2 second difference, on top of fire having the most atrocious clash rates known to heat magic. Its Arcanium buys it back some points (100% power is great, that is undeniable), however it shouldn’t put it two tiers above Plasma. It also lacks color variations, which to some may hurt its score.

Fair, it has effort put into the visuals as compared to the rather poor plasma visuals. It’s also orange, which makes it cool.
counterpoint: mid size and plasma doesnt match with other magics because it looks ugly and awful to see (not like fire + ash, or ice + snow they look pretty together)
