My New Class Names Attempt

Conjurer → spellblade
Warlock → spellstriker
Knight → spiritblade
Juggernaut-> spiritstriker
Paladin → arcanist (uses both forms of the arcane)
Berserker → leave as is or Brawler
Savant → leave as is or martialist
Oracle → Oracle
Warrior → Blademaster
Warlord → Warrior

Why turn warlord into warrior? warlord doesn’t really make sense intuitively, and as the warrior name is now freed up since old warrior is blade master, warrior it is

Minor grammar errors fixed

Imo blademaster wouldn’t make sense cause of every non-blade weapon in the game and arcanist could easily be swapped out for priest (although that might be a little too healer-y of a name), but honestly they seem pretty good

Honestly warrior to warlord actually makes a lot of sense

Warrior might just end up as weapon master at this rate

why is blade used in half of the names bruh, looks oversaturated af

Blade = weapon smart guy

Since I don’t want to make an entire thread just to post my ideas, I’ll put them here

Juggernaut: Monk
Warlock: Spellfist (absolute garbage but it’s 4 am for me and I can’t bother rn)
Berserker: Brawler
Knight: Paladin
Conjurer: Enchanter/ Infuser
Warrior: Weapons master
Warlord: Strong warrior (it’s just incontestable, sorry)
Paladin: Soulmage (honestly idk what to do with paladin)

honestly all the old names are fine i dont see a singular reason why they should be changed

I still think this sounds REALLY good

Oracle- (Stays)
Mage- (Stays)
Warrior- (Stays)
Berserker- Brawler
Paladin- Spirit Mage
Juggernaut- Spirit Fighter
Knight- Paladin
Conjurer- Spellblade
Warlord- Gladiator
Warlock- Battlemage
Savant- Polymath (Maybe???)

Why not just use “Armsmaster” for Warrior? It’s not as clunky as “Weaponsmaster” nor as exclusive as “Bladesmaster”.

Name everything else to specialist
Name savant to generalist

You completely missed the point
Vetex was replacing them with ones that actually make sense without knowing exactly what build they are in lore, which is why he wants to change them in the first place

Sure, monk makes sense for the spirit half of juggernaut, but what about monk tells you they use fighting styles? do you get where I’m going with this
Also, names that aren’t one word or even two words fused together have a -10 cool points automatically, which is why nobody likes strong warrior

i have some ideas

conjurer - spell knight
knight - spirit knight
warlord - martial knight
paladin - spirit mage/magician/magus/whatever

Oracle → Shaman
Knight → Paladin
Juggernaut → Monk
Paladin → Cleric

This sounds infinitely better than fucking “weapon mage” :sob: :sob: :sob:

Don’t diss the creative genius behind the name “strong warrior” It took vetex all of two minutes to think of!

May as well throw my own hat in the ring.

Mage and Oracle stay; they’re lore-accurate reflections of what somebody with those abilities in-verse would be called, which is what Vetex wants.

Berserker or Fighter, either one is fine with me, but for the sake of simplicity, I’ll just call it Fighter. Warrior could either stay or be replaced; maybe Armsmaster like @Achroma suggested.

Hybrids are definitely a little tricky, but they could be better than putting two full build names together with almost no changes to either. Paladin could become either a one-word title like some have suggested, but it could also go into the two-word titles Vetex used. Maybe Inspirited could be the prefix for Vitality builds, using the other half’s full build name?

Warlock and Conjurer are easier to work off of; just put Magic in front of the new build name, although it is low-effort. Maybe Magical or Enchanted as a prefix instead?

Warlord is easy if we replace Warrior with Armsmaster; just give it the Warrior name. If it isn’t, though, it’s probably the hardest to think of a new name for. Makes me feel pretty bad for dogging on Vetex after he renamed it to Strong Warrior. Maybe Brawler, but that sounds like a Berserker name. Maybe Bladeswinger, but that actually sounds worse. Going back to prefixes, my best thought is Brawling.

tl;dr replace a stat build’s full name in the new names for hybrids with a relating prefix, and Vetex was right in not having a better name for the Warlord build

To be fair, I think the best until now are:

Knight → Paladin
Juggernaut → Monk
Paladin → Cleric
Warrior → Armsmaster
Warlord → Warrior

I really like the word “Warlock” but I agree with Tech that it doesn’t make much sense, but Spellfist sounds lame in my opinion…
