I’ll try and keep this spoiler-free, but you’ll know who I’m talking about when you face the guy with metal magic.
This fight, for a lack of a better word, is BS. There, I said it. There is no avoiding severe damage, as there’s no room to dodge, and your mobility is neutered in this fight anyways. Thus, I have two pieces of advice to players fighting his second stage:
Block his ~700 big axe multihit. There’s no avoiding this one, just block it. If you’re a weapons build, I would advise you to equip a shield.
Out DPS him. I’m serious. Playing avoidant won’t work. You cannot—and I must emphasize this—you cannot avoid getting hit in this fight. I don’t even mean for you to primary work on parries and defensive moves rather than dodging. You must rush this frick down and beat him to bloodied mush as fast as you possibly can, stopping only to block his massive-axe multihit. Everything else? Parry it if you can react, but never, ever stop attacking at close range. You have to be as mad as this stupid furry thinks he is.
his stupid shard attack in phase one sucks. there’s barely any time to react or distinction between it and his beam attacks.
and idk if this is a bug or not but he just does not stop stacking his purple burst attack on top of his other attacks. other than that his boss fight is actually pretty alright
i can attest to this. First time i beat him I didn’t even give a shit about blocking or dodging. I just air stalled (unless he used the wall crush or that pillar move) and kept placing projectiles where he was. Eventually i won cause i got lucky and he didnt use that aoe axe move that does 700 dmg twice
My first file has cannon fist so at least that’s still doable
My second and third file (which are arguably more difficult to play because the restrictions I set upon myself) will be hurting
