not supporting their actions or anything assuming whatever you said isnât false but with addition of clans and⌠very fps like PvP i think itâs only natural the game would come to attract these kinds of people, holy shit
every single time i take a peek in the mythos discord i see slurs and beef and racism and homophobia or whatever the FUCK all the time when it was alive, while I could always stop looking at it itâs so draining
Some of it is relating to your clan, I donât know what you did wrong but I do not want to associate with it further than this message. People simply cannot give up hate
I canât imagine how draining it is to manage a clan, and our leaders have already left so thatâs absolutely solidifying it
Some part of the clan community is mentally insane, and I am never going to be swayed in my belief.
It baffles me how much anonymity brings out the worst in us.

I was in a major clan for about a year and a few months, and I was in a competitive clan for like a month or so.
It was horrible. I barely touched the tip of the competitive side of ao iceberg yet there was not a single period in the time when this game released that I couldâve been more unhappy than how I felt at that time.
As for the other clan that Iâve been a long member of, I wonât get too deep on the details. Iâm no longer in it because of a disagreement.
I can really understand what you meant by people who take this game too seriously. From my own experiences, Iâve learned itâs best to just avoid those people at all cost.
(The next part is just advice for anyone reading this, and itâs kinda off topic)
If anyone here is planning to make a clan, make sure:
- itâs a small-mid size friend group where everyone feels comfortable with each other
- None of you are too competitive/serious about the game
- Make sure it doesnât get too big. Big clans are not necessarily bad, but the bigger it becomes, the more the first bullet point is going to be forgotten. If you wanna grow a healthy community, generally avoid growing it too much.
- Do not invite just about anyone. Get used to a person before inviting them to join.
Thatâs my idea of the ideal clan. I know itâs kinda off topic but I just wanted to share some of the things that I think are fundamental to hold up a healthy clan community. If youâre doubting whether you should stay in a clan, try to make a list like this of what you find important in a clan. If your current clan exceeds some of your boundaries maybe itâs best to step out.
So on the topic again, it really sucks that thereâs this huge web of degenerates and toxic people playing this game and itâs exactly this group of people that keeps a lot of beloved community members from touching the game again.
I agree that something should be done but theyâre part of every game that has some level of competition in it.

THIS⌠the clan Iwas in used to be your exact description of an âideal clanâ, but unfortunately it fell prey to some of the things you mentioned (i.e the second point and the third) which lead to both leaders abandoning it
I completely agree with everything you said. To create a healthy and comfortable clan you should follow these steps yeah.
I hope there was someone responsible enough to try fixing this large issue within the community but weâll see. This part of the community is a large factor for vetex quitting it including dozens of my friends quitting so it should be addressed.

Do you still agree with the proclaimed statements regarding what an ideal clan should be? after looking at your clan, now do you still think you uphold the ideals when it comes to having a healthy and successful clan?

on another note, how the FUCK does someone see a 500 damage pshot and think âomg he has to be hackingâ when hitting 500 damage on pshot is⌠incredibly easy.
and you can NEVER trust visuals because of the desync issue⌠and yet they claimed they were using aimlock?
theres literally very little way to tell if someone is using aimlock unless you have a clip from their point of view (THAT INCLUDES THEIR CURSOR) and study it RELIGIOUSLY.
there are people in this community with cracked as fuck aim, iâd think hitbox extenders WAY before aimlockâŚ

im confused every time i join a server ludia attacks me all the time like and yall witchhunt me and it is mean, and to top it off always say ez and XD when they jump me with 2 people it is just so annoying and rude, ive sorted out my quarrels with mendacium it is only ludia that is consistently doing this
I have mixed feelings about your clan
Iâve been hunted by them before, and as a person that doesnât PvP, this sucks (excluding that one time I was in a competitive clanâmy mistake, I only wanted to join casual clans)
Just leave me and my saint lily flowers in peace while I fish in white summit, youâre only getting 60 infamy extra
At the same time, youâre also allied to a clan that Iâm an affiliate of. I canât exactly blame you since affiliates are kinda the âhelping clans but donât expect much in returnâ type of people
But taking my islands while Iâm just minding my business on the other side of the map? Seriously?
Buddy is saying that like theyâre not the one who makes up lies, tries to harass people, and has a blackmarketer as one of their higher ups

I know this post is hella old but I want to give my take as a fellow clan leader.
My community is solely PVE and that doesnât stop PVP clans from forcing us into toxic interactions. What you said about clans is very true, most competitive ones are extremely toxic because of the inherent competitive nature of clans. Fighting and killing is encouraged and instead of limiting clan combat to official clan wars and such, vetex has doubled down by increasing hunt infamy yet again.
Clans in almost all games serve as a way to form a unique community, something that goes beyond a friend group. By creating a clan you form a community with a unique identity. Locking this feature behind pvp festers toxic communities and impacts the game as a whole. It is completely unfair to do this because anyone who wants to create a unique community is forced to enter this world of toxic interactions and pvp sided gameplay they likely donât want to interact with.
With the pvp toggle coming in Full Release, the question of pve clans is becoming more and more important. Should a pve alternative exist? I say it should because we need a non pvp (and non toxic) way to form unique player communities. This will encourage longer pve player engagement and bring less toxic players into the game as they wonât become toxic from the inherent competitive aspects and borderline tribalism that a lot of clans de evolve into.
As for your clan, the only interactions Iâve had were my allies trash talking you because you keep ganking them and having my pve members abandon their grind along with any loot they got because one of your members joined to hunt them. If you engage in hunting you will be forced into negative interactions, especially if the person youâre hunting does not consent to a fight. Canât tell you much other than to expect toxicity when youâre ganking, itâs an ugly side of the game and it will stay that way.

I doubt anyone would do that, but if anyone from ludia does that ludia has a system for ppl to report bad behavior and that is against our rules
I donât know why youâre still on that, we sorted it out and I offered to give you what was lost but you aired me when we both had time
To this day Iâm still waiting for proof of any of this from the person who makes up these baseless accusation. Iâve called them out for months but Iâve been ignored even when I DM them to solve the drama
I might make another post like this explaining the immaturity coming from that clan and the general baseless hate and accusations about ludia because itâs absurd and needs attention of some sort
