My rival is bugged?

My rival has thermo, boxing, and for magic he has water and metal and he has wat ult and he is lvl 100.
Just how does he have like a 3rd awakening at that lvl

In all seriousness, I think it’s because how stat points are distributed for enemies? Trying to remember it correctly… I think instead of getting half for each stat, so for example, 50 for Magic and 50 for Strength, they instead get full for each stat? So 100 Magic and 100 Strength. Hopefully that made sense ^^"

My rival at lvl 160 has boxing, magma and metal magic
And no I am not stupid to hunt him in nimbus sea until I literally can’t beat him and instead whine about vetex making them op.

I hunt peoples rivals in the nimbus sea specifically to level them up :smiling_imp:

If I remember correctly, I think I heard somewhere that rivals are meant to be getting changed with how their stat points are distributed? Don’t take my word for it because I can’t fully recall where I heard that

it’ll be fixed next update, currently bounty NPCs dont follow the stat build rules, but in empire update they will.

Why they wanna nerf npcs tho

If I had to take a guess, it’s because the rival level cap is much higher than the player’s level cap (260 for rivals and 140 for players) and can get much stronger than the player can at the moment, to the point it could be seen as unfair

And also because as said by @nilexrl above, they don’t follow the stat builds rules which is a bit unfair to the player

Rivals are like minobosses and I like it, no idea why people would want a nerf

Yeah I agree that rivals should be like minibosses, they are called rivals after all. But I personally don’t think this is really a “nerf” exactly, moreso just making sure that rivals follow the same stat build rules as the player and don’t have an unfair advantage

Personally, I don’t really mind if rivals are nerfed or not, I am fine with them as is

I got a savant rival and its sorta funny to see him use boxing, water and rapier at the same time

I see… my warrior file’s rival is a Paladin with only dual bronze flintlocks, has over 3k HP and is genuinely one of the toughest enemies I have fought. Like I almost never can beat him without having to respawn to back all my health

The only bad thing about high lvl npcs is their aimbot but rest is fine, with right skill you can beat pure build warrior doing 500 dmg per skill

Yeah I absolutely agree, I hate how I can be moving at fast speeds but then Acevedo here hits me with his over 100 damage dealing flintlock shot, it’s so annoying :sob:
