cuz the magics were made by Prometheus himself, it’s the same reason why players won’t get Poseidon magic
the only way to get a grand fire magic is to have a grand fire user give you their essence or whatever

poseidon magic is a human-made magic i think and it was exclusive to poseidon, since he was the one who made it, yes people can indeed obtain grand fire magics via scrolls
I saw somebody say that scrolls are only in existence in the game, due to the fact that it’s an alternative to mutations. They then cited an image of Vetex saying it.
Might have been the comments on the AO wiki page for Mutations.
Personally, I prefer them being canon as well.
