When you enter range 4, start measuring time. Stop when you reach range 5, halve the time and sail back until the timer runs out. After that, you should be near the middle of range 4, align your ship so that the Dark sea compass points east-west, then sail and adjust yourself every once in a while so that you don’t steer off-course.

every two seconds, and you heal enough to survive an extra one, you have time
i fail to see how i can use 8 seconds to turn around 180 degrees (already costs 6 seconds), then travel 200 studs to get out of the range

nah insanity 5 is bugged and doesn’t kill you if you have warding 6 (I didn’t even know surviving out there was a bug when I went out there to farm siren rocks)

I would also stock up on cargo too, in addition to the other stuff. The waves, lightning, tornadoes, etc can damage your ship a lot, which is bad. Make sure that you’re safe before giving the quartermaster the command though, the waves can sweep you off and it’ll be annoying to get back. Could end that run too if you’re being chased by Atlantean ships or Giant White Eyes.
ik all the tips to get to the epicenter but it being a 1/4 chance to even go in the right direction from the beginning of the trip just turns me off of even trying so bad
