how viable is this build, mostly in term of pve since i wont be pvping that much ( if at all )

im intending on using rapier and gun ( if im playing with someone, shield if im play alone ), and lends more to a support role, or at least have abilities that stun, slow or something

seems some talents lock each other out and i dont really understand how it work so i’ll just asking about stat for now

how good are prediction and sing btw ?

few things im concern with this:

  1. my ping will probably be terrible so chances are i would probably get hit a lot, maybe i should put more point in fortitude to equip better shield ( or maybe not cause i would probably die anyway if i ever get lagged during a figh )

  2. i do not know how important and how easy is it to gain rep in this game

  3. is a support build even viable

  4. can you run from every pvp fight or is pvping a requirement for something

  5. how important is carry load in this gaem ? i have a bad habit of stockpilling things

  6. are vow of… (something i dont remember) stuffs worth it ? i know i’d be playing with you people but timezones difference and all that, i could probably use those extra points in charisma for something else

Oh, shields simply raise posture, not like armor or hp or anything like that.
That means that, in simpler terms, the stronger the shield, the more things you can block before getting guardbroken.

Ngl, if you’re going the Charmcaster route, Sing is pretty useless since mantras already apply the charm status. There is the Encore Talent that buffs Sing, but its effects are most likely placebo or non-existent.

There isnt exactly a per-say “Support Build” in this game, it goes more under the logic of fighting alongside your allies and giving the occasional buff. You cant just stay back and give buffs, you have to fight as well and dish out damage.

The Vow of Mastery stuff is cool if you know how to use it. You prob shouldn’t go 75 Charisma though, since in order to get Command Live, you need to have all the other Vow Talents as well, which doesnt exactly seem to be your main goal rn. They’re worth it, but since you’re just starting out, maybe try other things first

What country and state do you live in? Its extremely important to join servers that hold your region, since that means your connection will be better.
