The goal of this suggestion is to add more unique cannonball types to Arcane Odyssey, thus making ship combat even more strategic and interesting. These cannonballs would inflict status effects on ships that would, instead of pure damage, focus more on giving the player an opening to deal more damage.

Upon hitting an enemy ship, corrosive cannnonballs will inflict the ship with “Corroded” status effect. This effect lasts for 10 seconds during which the enemy ship will take 33% more damage.
Upon falling into the sea, a green puddle similar to shark blood will spawn on the sea. This puddle will damage all ships that pass through it, dealing 50 damage per second. - Poisonus shell

Upon hitting an enemy ship, sea or terrain, poisonus shells will create poisonus clouds in that area. Initial impact will inflict all enemies with “Poisoned” status effect, dealing 20% of the ammo’s total damage each second, while passing through the clouds will deal 30 damage per second.
Neither the status effect nor the clouds damage the ship itself, making this ammunition more useful against enemies on ships. - Frozen shell

Upon hitting an enemy ship, frozen shells will inflict the ship with “Frostbound” status effect. This status effect lasts for 2 seconds during which the enemy ship cannot move or turn at all.
Upon falling into the sea, an iceberg will form, damaging ships that crash into it and blocking their path. However, the iceberg can be destroyed by dealing 1000 damage to it.
