It would be cool if it also made sea monsters more attracted to your boat or something
It would also be nice if every clan member could set spawn on it or something

It would be nice if you could have multiple in one server, but servers just aint big enough rn (mega servers?)

I don’t see why a single clan wouldn’t be able to have multiple players across different servers using the flagship.

For smaller clans (groups of friends that always play together), this makes sense.
For larger ones (not that), this does not.

Needing to compete with ??? other people to get the single big funny ship across the entire game because you’re in a larger clan would suck.

so like, what about the A.S and G.N? Are they just not allowed to summon flagships?

It would be cool if higher ranks could do that or something, but it would probably require there to be other GN/A.S members in the server to do it

It should be so that they need 3-5 other clan members in the server for the leader to be able to spawn it in, so that its not just one person bossraiding
Maybe make it get even stronger if you got more members, kinda like each player works as a deckhand

The reason I wanna keep Flagships to a limit of 1 at a time is due to how strong it would be for things like dark sea alone

(main reason i had this idea)

So like if clans can spawn multiple then they would design squads to go around on grind sessions instead of strategizing about how and when members should use the Flagship

Basically a type of asset that the clan needs to discuss on when they use and an asset that can also be detrimental to lose

I think the AS and G.N might get a rework

but other then that, I’m not sure how it would work on for the GN and AS

I mean assuming you just let all the AS and GN players build flagships but only 1 per server

they would still need to be financially strong enough to not have the ship ruin their economy

even if they could spawn in themselves it would just not be worth it

thou overall i think it would be nice if Vetex implements that one factions like suggestion

I think with the addition of dragons and few other npcs vetex is addin. the game’s “soloability” might be coming to an end.

what i mean is that the difficulty of NPCS have been rising so fast that it might not be worth soloing things in the dark sea past a point, (especially after the invis pot nerf)

Maybe it’s ok if someone is soloing even after multiple difficulty steps are added but this is just me guessing

personally i hope the game becomes difficulty enough that you need to play with a team of players which is more fun anyways

Yea I think player cooperation and togetherness in clans should be promoted far more, one major issue with it though is server size limiting how many people you can get to do thing like massive dark sea expeditions or clan wars
Someone should make a suggestion post asking for mega servers :wink:

It would be nice if Vetex somehow optimizes the game so much that the game can run a massive load of players at once with no lag, hopefully it proves possible in the future.

i’m gonna make a CFist file just so I can do this. Light CFist, with lots of Power and Attack Speed, with max agility so I can run away if they wanna chase me down.

i really like this idea. we could even make it customizable, like several clanship uh, “skins” to choose from. one of them could be a massive viking ship or something.

it might be overly complicated, but it’d be sick if each role in a clan could make different levels of contributions. Leader of the clan can obviously edit everything, Co-Leaders can drive the boat with perms and edit mostly everything except like, the captain’s quarters, and then every rank down has their own little “rooms” that they can fight over editing.

but yeah that sounds overly complicated.

i agree with the idea of them needing to be spawned at islands that are claimed.

i also think they should be extremely slow (sort of the opposite of the running trend of increasing ship speeds), but in turn, have massive health. their cannons would be a similar story, with even the lowest fuse cannon taking a while to strike, but would do major damage.

this way, regular ships could easily escape Flagships, like say a noob on his caravel trying to swim through the ocean.

Imagine you’re little Billy. You played WoM during the Pandemic and realized (albeit a bit late) that the creator made a new game entirely. You hop on, get a Caravel, but over the horizon, a sillouhette of a massive ship appears, with the clan image of uh logging into the game rn to see the top clan Goethic, with their ship named “NEWBIE WRECKER 9000.”

yeah that’s kinda terrifying. making them extremely slow but tanky would encourage flagship vs flagship pvp, with players raiding onto the other flagship, and not Flagship vs Noob’s Caravel decimation.
