Clan Flagships (Very Lengthy + Major Addition)
What is a Clan Flagship?
Clan Flagship are bigger and stronger vessels then the average player ships that are more tanky then normal ships.
These ships are the power house of a clan and are often used in naval combat against other clans.
Reasons to add?
This idea was inspired by the problem many faced where they explained how ship leaders dying caused an entire Dark Sea group to lose all their progress.
This idea is a work around to make it so that a ship would stay even if the current party leader dies.
(still has alot more potential despite being a feature request for a particular problem)
Concept Idea:
How would it work?
> spawning and despawning
This ship is spawned by a top ranked member of the clan.
This ship does not despawn if the original player who spawned the ship dies.
This ship only despawns if any of these events occur:

The ship was destroyed.

The ship was lost to the dark sea. (no party members left)

All clan members left the server.

I’m not exactly sure how much this should cost compared to the regular ship lines.
these flagships would be way more expensive then regular ships to repair and maintain and would be a very VERY large galleon sink if your clan isn’t able to protect their clan ships from damage and destruction.

Should be at least 30% more expensive then regular ships.

Clan members can repair these ships by using repair hammers or paying a shipwright.

Destruction of Flagships would cost a good deal of galleons.

A Flagship being destroyed should feel like a great loss, They would cost a significant amount of galleons to repair and rebuild.
Infamy could be lost by a clan if a Flagship is destroyed, potentially allow other clans to gain infamy by sinking an enemy Flagship.
(maybe 100 infamy every time its destroyed? unsure)

Destruction of Flagships place a global Cooldown after it’s sent for repairs.

Destruction of Flagships are logged by clans and the lost infamy is placed on the member who spawned it.

Destroying a Flagship can award an enemy clan infamy for it.

Flagships base structure and design are still based on the regular ships.
(So a Brig Flagship would just be a more powerful and bigger version of a brig)

Flagships can’t be spawned multiple times in different servers.
(only one Flagship of a clan can exist in the entire game at a time)

Flagship deckhands can be placed from a higher member’s ship, this entirely removes the deckhand and places/replaces their slot.
Flagships will probably not have Quartermaster slots and instead have stronger stats and can have players take positions instead

Agora News could have a feature where they announce that a clan Flagship or NPC Flagship was sunk
Maybe they can also notify users about spotting a Flagship where they will promptly warn sailors to avoid them

Speaking about NPC Flagships, Boss ships could adopt the Flagship idea and can award infamy if a clan sinks an npc Flagship
(thou these should be very rare ships and shouldn’t be too easy to sink)

Make it so that a clan member must first assemble or build the flagship before being able to use it, this is to prevent instant spawns.
