okay so heres the premise:
the game takes place on many different maps, with tiles, there are lots of enemies that gradually get harder the more you progress (a roguelike basically), except:
enemies only move and attack when you move and attack, kinda like a game of really action packed chess.
i haven’t come up with a name yet so please help me there.
there are also several classes you can pick for when you play, making each run extremely different:
the classes
runner: the starter class of the game, fast, mediocre hp, nothing too special
starts the game with: serbu super shorty
sharpshooter: lower HP than normal, but however you do get infinite range and high damage
starts the game with: basic hunting rifle
synthesizer: average HP, bad starting weapon, but you can create sentries with many abilities
starts the game with: basic sentry, pistol
slasher: utilize fast melee attacks that require close combat yet deal devastating damage
starts the game with: dual daggers
summoner: average HP class with the ability to summon hordes of allies that move
starts the game with: ritual blade, necrobloxicon
singularity: copy the ability of the first enemy you killed, can copy more abilities later on.
starts the game with: mutated limbs
demolitionist: KA-BOOOOOOOM
starts the game with: hand grenades
gambler: abuse RNG to the maximum to get random weapons and skills from every existing class in game.
starts the game with: random
I definitely have not thought of every class, these are just a few, please leave suggestions for class ideas if you have any, and feedback on the game idea in general.
EDIT the game does not work the same as previously stated and instead works more similar to HOURS and black magic 2, as well as being played from a more birds eye view of each map
