I’m sure everyone has seen the new generation of consoles coming soon being Playstation 5 and the Xbox Refrigerator, but jokes aside i’m curious how everyone feels about there being a digital version both consoles coming along side its usual self needing a disk. The digital version of the console is speculated to be cheaper than the console with a disk driver, but how does this make ya’ll feel not needing to pop a disk in like old gen consoles required you to? Personally I feel like if you were to buy the digital version you might as well save yourself the money if you have a good gaming computer, unless there are ps5 exclusive titles you’d wanna play. Plus the nostalgic feeling of popping in that new playstation game you got into the disk driver, without that I feel like the digital versions of both consoles will be very obsolete. But let me hear your thoughts and opinions on the matter.
I think it’d be alright to be honest, but also reminds me of a computer with extra games you get to buy on it. Not saying that it’s going to be useless or anything but I’d rather have a disk slot to play games other than just buying them and installing them or whatever, agreeing with what you just said about nostalgia I’d also like to have the satisfaction of buying a game and inserting the disk into the console, maybe it’s just not to our preferences though since we’ve come from that generation, and the generation before ours have had to stick their games in and wait quite longer than we had to for the previous decade or longer.
I’m broke as hell man i can’t afford any of that shit
i’m just praying that the ps5 won’t cost everyone like 599 USD. the console itself really sounds exciting to own, and some of my friends are literally simping over it.
ong it looks sexy as fuck
I guess im just gonna stay on that switch like usual.
With controllers that break every 3 months
