I don’t understand the Theos one. He’s a regular human so not a God descendant, but special in the same way AO’s mc is? What other way is the AO mc special? Does he mean like a narrative thing like Theos was in a way the MC of his own story?
Also I guess Merlin is greek in this universe?

Normally I’d be celebrating a W for our goat Theos
But to be honest, I think this makes him a little less cool. The appeal of Theos was always that he was just a regular guy who became one of the strongest mages in existence, to the point he could rival curse users. Giving an explanation for that, being he was also boosted like the 2 mc’s, kind of takes away from that.
Granted, i don’t think this should be retconned (vetex is probably cooking something with this, otherwise it wouldn’t be added), but in other news, anyone notice they are keeping what’s “special” about the mc secret? Everyone basically states it as fact they are a demigod, but to be honest I don’t think we can be sure
We are either wrong, or there’s an extra layer of depth beyond just being a demigod that we have yet to realize.

That is true, while we are likely a demigod. Our “specialness” could also be attributed to something. They are not mutually exclusive.
There’s also this, so Theos could have “ascended” by bathing in dragonblood.
