Hey guys, I’ve started playing Arcane again and noticed that they’ve removed the ability to upgrade weapons. Is there a way I can upgrade weapons other than by going to the blacksmith? Do I have to fight a boss at my current level to get the same weapon I have just of my current level, or how does it work now?
All weapons are now at a fixed level even if you obtain them later
This means they are always at full power. You no longer need to sink a ton of money into avoiding a damage penalty.

What MrYes and Rensparrot said: You can no longer upgrade weapons whatsoever at a Blacksmith, but in turn, they’re always at their full power (so currently, an Old Sword obtained at Level 1 would act as if it were upgraded to Level 50).
instead, you can disarm them to get their skills as items called “skill notes”. you can apply these skill notes to compatible weapons in your inventory
