Barely, the heat gain mechanic makes it difficult to run especially as warlords who need to balance using weapon skills (losing heat for some reason or at least gaining less heat) with using fighting style Techniques (less range and size but more heat gain)
it does not take 10 hours to gather seaweed or auric seaweed

Since water breathing gems wont stay at its current state, just buff the effects.I know that theres already a 2x buff for compensation, but that is nothing. 2x air is hardly enough for 1 diving spot. How about 3x, or even 4x instead?
i dont really see whats the problem here, just dont interact with the already god awful underwater exploration system and you arenât affected at all by this change ez.
Out of curiosity, who makes and finalises the balance changes? The fact that it took a year and a bit and the ability to test changes out before hand for b-team to not come up with nuclear 50% nerfs suggests incompetence within.
honestly reading through this thread big bump all this stuff would be much less a problem if you could get to diving structures before dying of old age
+100% âair capacityâ currently would become +200% air capacity if all changes go through effectively giving 3 times the base air capacity
with that considered (its 5 maxed musgravites or 10 maxed other jewels, you can go way further than that if you are willing to sacrifice more jewels) you can also add an extremely cheap waterbreathing 1 potion (-50% air consumption), if you can spare the positive potion effect slot, and make that triple duration another 2 times longer, so 6 times the base air capacity
so yeah, if you wanna cheap out on waterbreathing potions for some reason, the planned changes arent so bad at all. im not saying it cant be buffed further but personally i think its enough

ya, well u cant deny that it makes life easier on a feature that takes some time to resolve, personally i use a low tier drinkable revealing pot and since it doesnt reveal everything, its still taking so long that the potion effect ends
If Vetex heard of it he wouldnt push it, he has a financial stake in AO succeeding, after all people do buy all the gamepasses. Developers often integrate bugs into the game if its players like it and this should be no diffrent. Ive said it before WATERBREATHING GEMS CURRENTLY can still be BEATEN by potions, so no having INF air gems isnt even an issue because potion builds can still surpass it
At that point if you put that many WB gems you lose all your swim speed which ruin the point of the diving build.
It wasnt fixed for ages and players like it and it actively IMPROVES the game, at this point just integrate it into the game, because mind you its a niche diving itself isnt the most popular and taking away a feature that makes it easier to play with will just make it less popular, what Vetex could do is simply integrate this into the game as a feature and it would be GOOD PR for both the balance team and for Vetex, and it would be healthy for the game. At the end of the day full swim speed builds with a WB 5 potion still beat the WB gem build so its not like potions get invalidated even.
