Ngl the whole “magic > everything else” is kind of stupid

i think it makes sense tbh, obviously magic energy (a primordial force) is gonna be stronger than just using your fists or weapons

understanding and liking something doesnt not always come together

does it make sense? sure does

do i like it? sure dont

well its just how it is i guess

Now this brings up a question, can revon with a ar15 kill morock?

@skittlesnakes This is a job for you to explain

Curses cannot be damaged by anything that isn’t either coated with magic energy or straight up magic energy

Assuming revon is a warrior because he clearly has no magic, by the time ar15s are invented he should have the ability to use aura on the ar15, and thus damage morock

kinda makes sense like if irl had magic, a mage would stomp a super trained fighter

“nepotism is peak and if you don’t get it you’re poor”
-my rich ass friend

That’s how we do it in AR

Revon would be melted within seconds of even approaching a 10km radius of Morock. Revon is a magicless, 200 hp sword using bum who can’t even fight back if his life depended on it.

What the fuck would Revon do? I’d finish the MC’s goal and I’d kill the rest of his family using only chopsticks and skittles.

Stand Disgraced, never speak the name of the :eye:KING:eye: in such a manner.

i dont mean to correct you but wouldnt his eyes be white

is bro attempting to summon my wrath for spreading such heresy?

As people have already said people can gain the ability to use magic, but even if they didn’t it wouldn’t make magic > everything else an objectively bad thing for the story. This part is very much just a matter of opinion.

Yes that’s why I called it my opinion

Westloon ily and some of yall did not read the lord doc… >:(

Everyone has spirit energy

The revolution will not spare his ass :sob:

This entire issue goes away when you realize the magic system of AO—despite its occasional bits of flavor—is effectively the same lore-wise as the magic roller games on Roblox. Unique lore really isn’t Vetex’s forte. The lore isn’t really the focus of the game, and I’d you delve into it this much, you’re going to end up disappointed.

As for the argument that effort should always beat talent—that’s nice for escapist fantasies like most animes, but given AO’s more grey, “realistic” tone, it doesn’t fit the game. This is a world where some people are just born lucky. Iris didn’t earn her flare magic, Calvus barely practiced, yet was somewhat strong because of his heritage.

TL;DR: you were expecting quality lore in a roblox game?
