I would have thought that Sameria would have the larger navy since Ravenna seems kinda weak
Its such a pain to get to insanity 1 for brigs to spawn, even then they aren’t the same level Nimbus Sea Brigs would be.
Sadly I think the earliest they’ll be added back will be when legendary and ghost ships get added.
I hope that by the time npc brigs spawn in the nimbus sea, we already have frigate. It’s already hard enough in the dark sea without getting them in the war seas as well… Although, that does depend on the level of the brig…
good point, but Vetex is smart enought to know that he has content-heavy customers

yeah, that clearly looks like a Brig.
And i remember that Ravenna’s port only had Caravels and Ketches in Rubica.
I mean brigs didn’t exist when vetex was building Ravenna, he might have forgotten to update the docks or he just doesent care.
Yeah and Sameria has territory outside of their home sea, whilst I’m pretty sure Ravenna doesn’t
While on an individual level Samerians will probably be stronger, given that aside from Julian everyone in Ravenna can be beaten by the MC, Ravenna may just have more resources and made more investments when it comes to it’s Navy. Sameria also seems to be mostly desert while Ravenna has shell island with tons of wood, so that probably contributes to it.

Possibly, but Ravenna should realistically be super weak right now compared to all other kingdoms:
- They just lost their king and the heir has gone missing
- Their main fort was destroyed, killing hundreds or thousands of their men
- They now only have one active general (Julian) who was severely wounded by Morden
- They only have one curse and it’s probably one of if not the weakest curse (cloud)
- Many of the other islands they used to control are either destroyed or abandoned (Whispering caves, Akursius, Talos, Blasted rock)
All of these reasons give the general assumption that Ravenna should be weak as shit

Most of these wouldn’t decrease the size of their navy at all, and the others only debatably so. The thing doesn’t say that Ravenna is stronger, just that they have a larger navy.

they could actually have more generals that we just didn’t see
The only other general that is mentioned that isn’t confirmed to be dead is Olivar in captain rackhams journal, but that journal was written so long ago he could be long dead

He wasn’t at Akursius keep, Captain rackham was the one in command at the time i believe
