NPC Dashing & Difficulty

i feel like the main issue is that npcs don’t dash enough

like they literally walk towards you in a straight line, enabling the zoning projectile spam cheese against npcs everyone uses

i think that having npcs just dash sideways / back and forth way more often could help npcs feel a lot more interesting

hot take: accuracy cancels all of this anyways

Fighting style using npcs tend to dash much more frequently from what I’ve seen, often doing two to three in a row.

You sir have obviously not fought King Admiral, the four admirals, the 10 vice-admirals, the 28 rear admirals, the 50 commodores and the 100 commanders that are immediately mobilized the moment you commit the worst crime of all (taking 4 galleons from a fruit merchant)

saying that is like saying atk size cancels all of combat movement which obviously isn’t true

i never noticed this
either way i still think they need to dash more
cus zoning fighting style npcs is the easiest thing ever killing level 500 berserker atlanteans aint even that hard if u have a large open field to work with (source i have done it many times before)

cus i’m not a bum who doesn’t clear my notoriety :skull: :skull: :skull:

Complains the NPCs don’t dodge enough
Refuses to fight the NPCs that dodge often and pose a challenge

:sparkles: :sparkles: :sparkles: I like to fight Argos cause he moves less than a training dummy :sparkles: :sparkles: :sparkles:

i don’t refuse to fight them cus they dodge often i refuse to fight them cus i don’t want notoriety npcs double to triple my level airdropping on my fucking head whenever i’m doing something else

your comment doesn’t even address my argument and serves literally zero purpose

I guess you don’t like fun smh /lh

I don’t think so, it’ll make it more annoying to fight against but we’ll still cheese them the same way. The main issue is that we have to cheese them to not get stat-checked.

it’ll make them harder to fight against cus they won’t stand still and face tank all our attacks like a moron

not rly if they dash side to side a lot more then spamming projectiles from afar won’t work nearly as well since they’ll just… dodge them

yeah which really sucks unfortunately but it shouldn’t be this way

This gotta be the wrongest take of all time. Npc’s dash more than enough

If you’ve fought Carina and any high level poster npc you know this is a blatant lie.
They dash atleast 3 times after every attack if not more.

bruh i’m literally gonna beat a level 260 npc without dashing and only using blast to prove my point
they’re way too cheesable cus they don’t dash enough

Ok, npcs are always predictable no matter how much they dash, they all think the exact same way. If you want a game with better ai go play deepwoken.

first try ez

if the npc dashed more it would’ve dodged all my attacks, dashed over to me, then 2 shot me

Saying that lvl 260 npcs are easy, is the most blantant “Im pvper!” statement out of all.
They are not easy. Some, sure, like current spirit routes npcs, or some axe knights npcs.

But once they start aoe spam you, and damage-trade you? You are done for.

Some npcs dash more than others. Arish Vista is actually cracked at dodging, but gets stat checked everytime. The opposite happens with level 260 npcs.
