What were you doing before bug occurred: Slaughtering NPCs
Steps to reproduce: Time it so you kill the NPC as they’re being alerted(when the have “!” over their head), theres a pretty big time frame you can do this in.

i think it’s intended to anchor corpse after peroid of time to reduce physical memory of the server
same happeds with buildings
well for mine, the npc just froze into the position it was in when it was being alerted
npc died of shock
