Carter is an artificial being created by the Order of Aesir. Instead of being born naturally, they were made by combining parts from several dead warriors who were known for their strength. Carter doesn’t have a specific gender - they’re neither male nor female. They have a dainty figure but with a very strong physique because the Order didn’t have many warrior remains to work with. The Order created Carter for a specific purpose: to be a container for a powerful Curse. They designed Carter’s body to naturally produce Magma magic, which makes them the perfect vessel for a Curse related to magma and volcanic power. Though Carter was made as a tool for the Order’s plans, they’ve developed their own thoughts and feelings, which wasn’t what the Order expected to happen.
