Only thing salt rocks are good for, is selling it for 1 gallon. If we then look at market prices it would take around 50-80k salt rocks.

What would you use that rock salt for, who would want rocksalt that is pretty much guaranteed to be gained from exploits in those quantities. Personally I would never settle for less then 50k rocksalt for a sunken piece.
