The hint says “doesn’t fit Sameria at all”. Not only is a heat magic which relates to how extremely hot Sameria can be, but it also relates to the sun which is on the whole thing for Sameria’s flag. Like it definitely fits a bit with Sameria, definitely enough to say that saying it “doesn’t fit Sameria at all” would be a false statement.

I dunno, I’m in the same camp as you that it’s basically certain that it’s storm. I’m just kinda holding out for an insanity curse because it would just be really cool and cause it still sorta works being purple and having the whole eye thing as it’s symbol. That said again I am pretty sure that it’s gonna be storm though. Don’t know how someone could think it was flare that’s kinda ridiculous given the hints.

Like don’t get me wrong I’m in the same boat of it more than likely being the Storm curse, but the insanity curse can work perfectly fine here.
i still dont think the insanity curse exists or has any reason to exist, i mean how exactly would that benefit its user, not to mention the fact that insanity magic just isnt a thing

The same way other curses benefit people? This one would just add the effect of giving people insanity. Also do we actually know all the magics? Cause like there are definitely more than in AA and the lost and ancient magic lists got removed a decent while ago. Vetex even entertained the possibility of like a lost magic getting added through a community contest so it’s not like he’s against adding new magics. I really don’t see why there wouldn’t be a possibility for it to exist or so certainly declare that it isn’t a thing. Like don’t get me wrong I understand thinking it’s unlikely, I kinda do too, but as far as I can tell nothing is actually stopping it from being a possibility.

You can defend against insanity and it’s not like the magic would have to give people insanity 3-5 to fufill it’s gimmick.
