What is one thing you would like to see removed from the game?
Some Magics not being able to work underwater, making them “waterproof” by default. The idea of a design choice that completely fucks over players who happen to pick one of these Magics and the only way to rectify it is a side quest that isn’t released yet makes me wish I was never born.

But I’d be fine with them staying as long as there are restrictions
removing other plays igniting your own plasma clouds with their fire/plasma.

notoriety, useless ass feature nobody likes and nobody dies to the noto npcs. It’s just there to lag the game and cause memory leaks

remove the gamepass but make hecate essence more common
like maybe confine it to insanity 5, but increase the chances

Modifiers.
My reasoning for this is:

they promote an insane amount of inventory bloat. After only about 3 hours of charting with a new method I recently learned, my screen freezes for a solid 3-5 seconds every time I open it, which didn’t happen before.

The bloat also turns every single time you open your inventory into it’s own search for a decent modified item. Even when the search bar is added, the good Modified items will simply blend into the giant pile of garbage and not be very memorable, I’ll probably still need to rely on the spreadsheet I keep to know which decent modified items I have.

They skyrocket certain armors such as the stat-specific ones to sunken level EPs while still failing to make most common chest loot viable

Every single non-modified loot source in the game is essentially pointless because modified sources will have the exact same gear, but better.

Most Modifiers on Most items will just produce an item with an unusable stat spread

if i were to make a joke suggestion, my choice would be headless.
economy’s screwed as it is, fix it a bit by removing the most expensive stuff that people like those who run the galleon overprice to price fix
if i were to make a serious suggestion, invisibility potions not working on sirens or atlanteans anymore
makes it a lot harder to get dark sealeds, and can be especially hard for people who don’t have good combos or aren’t good at combat
It would be nice if they got rid of npcs parrying all multi-hit attacks
I also wish vetex removed items coming in multiple colors from chests, there is so much garbage in my inventory and it’s just the same 20 items but with different colors and modifiers

Or if it’s going to be in the game, then weaken those magics underwater but make them stronger under certain conditions. For example, let’s say in the future we can create a zone of wind magic. Then all Fire magic spells are “stoked” by the winds, and become larger and more powerful when used initially within the zone.

Custom Magics.
This has only started back up in the last few days, so I wouldn’t consider modifiers the root of the problem, though a better inventory system to handle and search through the excess items would be nice.
I don’t see what the problem is here. There’s items better than other items, that means the better items must be removed? Removing modifiers isn’t going to mean toothpicks will be buffed.
If you consider the more cosmetic items such as a chef’s hat, sure, but that’s not going to be used for stats either way.
I know you labeled this as a joke, but I’ll just say this: There’s two types of people that seriously use the Galleon - idiots, and people looking to take advantage of idiots.

RNG in most (if not all) of its forms. It’s the vilest aspect of Arcane Odyssey and I think that we can all agree that it would be a much more pleasant game without it.
You wouldn’t have to spend hours to make your characters PVP viable, to customise your character and change your magic, to get that one egg that nobody likes, etc.
