Opinion on this (Vetex statement)

Blatant lies :sob:

This is the main reason I always defend Vetex even when he makes bad decisions

He has personal and mental issues which he is suffering through, and despite that he continues to work hard on a free game for everyone which I respect massively

Plus I feel bad when I see people insulting him because with anxiety that must be hard for him

said who

Said who what

who said vet had mental issues

Ive been witnessing this shit since AA vro

That would necessitate:

  • Server hosting (constant money sink whether you host them yourself or use a service)
  • More modelling and texturing (everything would have to be done from the ground-up)
  • Marketting (money sink n°2)
  • Making use of another engine or creating its own (money sink n°3)
  • Making an actually good game that isn’t just a skinner box decorated with a story that leaves a lot to be desired (money sink n°4)

Needless to say, Vetex made the right choice in keeping AO to Roblox, and he said so himself.
The only upside to making it into an actual game would be the availability of shaders, of a better real-time rendering engine, and maybe an increase in performance and server stability.

player count will be down in the next year intermission between nothing-burger updates, more than is already seen

Don’t endorse shitty practices cuz they are “optional” hecate didn’t get buffs cuz he wanted to make this a product

Full release doesn’t seem like a bad update, the rest were foundational stuff, and unlike then he’s go help. I doubt you have any coding or modeling experience, so you likely have 0 frame of reference for how game development could even be like.

No one cares about that, if AO had amazing end game content and appealed to a lot of people. Then the game would be pulling huge numbers, the majority of people playing don’t know how Vetex is like.

NGL i choked on my water, you mean for every 10 bad features he does 1 good right?

Finding hecate is fun wdym

actually I do indeed have experience in coding, Even if i didn’t that doesn’t really say anything.

You can’t just say “oh it’s not like you can do better” cuz that’s nonsense

If a boss is terrible at management he can’t just say “Oh but it’s not like you have any experience” for example

Rage bait used to be believable, I think if you said something like “what shitty practices bro” id fall for it

could you back up your toxicity with some extra acid and name 10 objectively bad features?

I genuinely had fun searching in the dark sea, got to fight lots of atlans
Don’t gotta be mean about it

Not much supports this claim, steady 1000 player count for 2 years should be promising.

Idk why someone would go through the hassle of changing a decent magic, a name, a build, an appearance and everything just for a new character instead of making a new file and spending just 7 hours (not even half a day) completing it.

Its an opinion not bait
I had fun looking for it, is that so difficult to comprehend?
