Our party in the story

What do you think about them and do you prefer a party? I personally liked it when it was just me and badass grandpa theos.

let’s be honest
Theos didn’t do a lot
man just told an amnesiac man to just “whelp, you woke up and now go save random villages and stuff”

I defo prefer a party.

It feels more satisfying to grow with others idk.

Theos did the following:
-Gave the player a knife and rowboat
-Told them to murder 150 cowboys on a random island
-Expected you to find 5 different crystals underwater without any instructions
-Beat you to near death in an attempt to open your 2nd mind
-Proceeded to then die fighting against resurrected Prometheus
Theos, despite being this legendary mage who’s lived for hundreds of years and went toe to toe with Durza, doesn’t do a whole lot during the story

I prefer party. Makes the MC like they’re not a total loner y’know? And it gives some really nice multiple character dynamics instead of just one personal relationship like with Theos, and we also get to see other characters interact with another outside of just MC.

Though, we dont know how much of a role this part will make in the long run. I mean, I dont think that Prison Arc is gonna be the last time MC gets seperated from the group, it might become a common occurance.

Though, Vetex did say something abt growing relationship in the group, so it might not be the case and the party becomes closer as time goes on.

I feel you, but on aa and ar it just feels like the mc is on his route to become a legend training under badasses such as theos and ultimately I prefer experiencing the story through my character perspective alone.

Ironically, when AA was still ongoing, the MC was actually supposed to be a literal nobody. Yep, a nobody, not meant to become the strongest or anything. They were just some guy who’s interference was enough to tip the power struggles going on, not really this powerful being.

Looking at the AA summaries and the planned storyline for the other seas, I could see that being the case, as a lot of those actually depict them more as a support for other characters, not the other way around.

Oh, and Theos was already dead. He was revived by Durza to get the MC to stop Hades one day. Well, it was one idea according to Tech

I mean if we were allowed to use cursrs then I don’t see a reason as to why the mc can’t be a nobody

I dont think people were allowed to use Curses in AA? Im pretty sure there was even a message abt that…

MC gains the Absorption Curse after the game’s events, we dont use it or anything

That’s my point

He is also makes an insensitive comment about the undead to you

Church of Iris?

AO story is better than I initially thought it was. ( i recently read the journals and kinda skim thru lore sometimes) I’m actually a lil hooked and want to see wt happens at nimbus already.

They’re all neat because it’s like a crew of underdogs taking on the Order instead of the “war” phoenix telling you to go do stuff he could easily do by himself because you need to train for 2 entire seas

And before anyone brings up Warren, there is no way you can tell me with a straight face that he didn’t kill Beringer

Wasn’t it stated a serum called Dying Truth was used to extract information from Beringer?

If anything it sounded like it’ll kill anyone if consumed but slow enough to forcefully obtain information from the victim.
