under-reaction

also, tier 1 supporter, your opinion matters not!

i dont see how its an over reaction. sure some people are getting mad at the wrong people but i’d be pretty pressed as well if i lost all my sunken weapons.

People played for many many hours to get those sunken weapons. waited many months for nimbus sea. Just about everyone is disappointed.

telling people to go outside doesn’t do anything to help anyones lost time, so I dont know why’d you make this post.

It isnt over for AO but its still a very hard blow for the game rn

whats with the hostility LMFAOOOOOOO

I feel like the weapon wipes not in vetexes hand but its the fact we got 1 story chapter that ruined it for me

I mean if you wanted 2 then I’m sure you wouldn’t have minded waiting another 2 months right?

The AO community is so ungrateful it’s unbelievable

no. not at all actually. i think one should take more time fleshing out content than releasing 30 minutes of playable content.

this community is used to very long updates. use the time to give these chapters life. tbf he was going through depression, so i can’t critique too harshly. he did say updates would switch to a monthly sched, so interested to see how that develops.

i don’t know why people on the forums are pretending they cannot see why others are dissatisfied. being contrarian helps nobody. if 85% of the playerbase is upset, there is a reason why.

At the end of the day, not being thorough enough is just his fault, plain and simple. He’s a solo dev, so there’s no one else to blame but him since at the end of the day, he opted to build this game on Roblox instead of branching out to a more stable platform, and not testing things properly in a mirror place that emulates the live experience.

People getting all up in arms that people are upset or calling them losers who spent too many hours in a game ā€˜that I assume’ they enjoyed enough to spend so many hours. Maybe these naive little grinch people should be glad anyone is actually concerned enough to put up a fuss about AO still given that it’s always been in a bit of a ā€œstateā€ regarding optimization and clumsy implementation.

It’s also SO much worse on the Discord with the various mods playing defense and doing the same thing. It’s insulting, really. The backlash is entirely deserved.

lmao whats with everyone hating on the fact hes a tier 1 supporter damn

if I say what I want to say, ill be in some trouble, but looking back on how painfully easy some of the first AO exploits were… yeah. we’re talking entry-level easy.

all I’m positing is, the platform can’t be to blame for everything, considering many games do the same thing. i even did have a similar workflow for my own games, lol, but I did take my main game down for maintenance tbh

this game’s damage control just feels super haphazard. not what I expected from a relatively larger name on the site
