Here’s another drawing I made for one of my guildmates! I went a bit overboard this time ;w;
I’m really happy with how the shading for the hair and mask turned out since I was trying something new, and hopefully I will learn to improve on my backgrounds and poses in future drawings!
Thank you for the input, I’ll have to try this out! I’m not too familiar with digital artwork quite yet, so are there any types of brushes or tools that you would recommend to achieve this effect? (For reference, I use Gimp)
I’m currently using sketchbook adobe. technically any tool will work if you are comfortable with it . i suggest learning by yourself via pinterest or youtube. such as colour theory, pose, anatomy and alot more. there are many tip and trick you play with in digital paintings depending on what program/tool you using try looking it up it help alot.
About the the program you are using, Gimp. i don’t recommend it. i had used it before and while it have many editing features, there are not many drawing or painting features.
Oh also this is kinda late reply i know, try practicing on paper first. it is easier and alot more comfortable. you can even draw on paper and scan it to the digital program later as reference or sketch.
Yeye, that is exactly what I do! I don’t have the funds to get fancy stuff like drawing tablets or art software so I do what I can lol. Backgrounds and anatomy have been my worst enemies in all mediums tho, so ig I gotta just keep practicin and learning :’)
