People always will complain

Looking bad when you don’t shower regularly is too real, where’s my escapism?

It’s also a bit like saying that the hunger system is an immersion feature, when it’s really just to prevent AFKing and so that there can be a food system.

I think if dirt wore off after going a minute without scrapping with someone (fighting), then it’d be a bit more of an immersion thing. That way you get to look messy after getting beat up, but you don’t have to look awful in pictures.

I’m sure somebody can find a problem with that.

yet he still added dirt???

Actually a similar thing happened for bleeding and soaked, and nobody complains about those.

Trying my best to be passive agressive here

I’m mostly indifferent about the dirt situation but I feel like it’s kind of annoying
at least we have a to-go solution now, it’s better than nothing

i wasn’t passive aggressive

I imagine dashing around and rolling on dirt accumulates dirt on you pretty fast.

Wouldn’t make sense for it to vanish after one dip, soap helps with this presumably. I can’t imagine Vetex would make it expensive either.

I mean, sure? Although not every single game is going to give you an option for every little detail. Vetex would have to disable the accumulation feature for that though.

Forgot I was replying to Onion. :skull:
To address what they said, I don’t see why taking a shower’s a bandaid fix.

You need to splish splash in the ocean for a full 20 seconds to get rid of dirt

I feel like he couldve just grabbed the bucket from the brig and put them in random areas instead of more inventory bloat but soap being edible is a nice feature

Dark Sea golden bath!!!

yeah see like, it would be really useful in random dark sea islands I think… but wouldnt make sense in lore

But the random golden cauldron, currently lit up while in the rain, and completely impossible to physically replicate outside of the ancient ruins of the dark sea, that makes sense in lore.

nah I imagine it like an endless infinity soup or broth to put whatever ingredients you can, kinda like running meat in a very hot soup

most people look at the dirt feature and think “wow this is annoying, i wish it was removed”

all the soap thing changes is turning the thought into “wow this is annoying, lemme search through my laggy ass inventory to find the soap to get rid of it”

the “wow this is annoying” is still there

wtf people find X feature annoying with no noticeable improvement to gameplay

let me add another annoying feature to look for to remove the first annoying feature temporarily before you have to deal with again

mf people just want it gone
