People who read the AA comics?

creed’s angel right?

yes

Once you said that, I actually agree onto your part. Something about her just feels bland. I mean yeah, she supposed to be the protagonist, but dang. Her personality just seem bland or generic to say the least.

I’m not really sure how to explain, but the way she just talk or her actions just she generic like your average hero in almost all story. Wish there was more of a mature character as a protagonist. Would have been more interesting in my opinion.

the rupin fight lasted like 5 episodes (i count the introdution)

i don’t really find her more enjoyable than juniper, she was kinda mean to her and i mainly got crazy vibes if i remember correctly, even at the beginning

The blandness of Juniper helps other characters stand out

Juniper has the one trait all anime protagonists have: a borderline sexual love of food.

I’m pretty sure Juniper having a bland personality is actually done somewhat on purpose. Now I know this might sound like an excuse for it, but she was basically “born” 3 years ago, and 90% of her time has been spent fighting/training to fight Durza. This was actually directly addressed in the comic:

Minor spoilers for episode #118

Granted, it has been quite a while and she’s barely made any progress on figuring herself out, but again, she’s solely focused on killing Mr. Armageddon. Of course this doesn’t mean that you have to like her having a bland personality, I just want to put it out there that there’s an actual reason.

Also, there have been quite a lot of hints lately that she’s going to find out who she was, what with Coconut and her eyes cracking. So we’ll see if that’ll shape her personality any.

angel too scary

Dude stop staring angrily at things that are visible to the readers.

It looks like he’s doing a reaction video or something.

Trigno with the cursed-skin stare

Oh

I mean- wait if she had the mentally of a dang toddler. Then why the heck is some one dating her,(since that other person probably have a better mentality than her).

Also that feels like another saying of “oh dang, I have nothing to give personally to my protagonist! Guess I will make them bland!” :sob:

The more I see through all of this, the less I’m interested by this comic book. Maybe I’m just picky or the fact that I just prefer comics that are bit mature in storytelling Idk.

Webcomics are always either hit or miss, mostly miss

Unfortunately that is the truth tbh. :frcryin:

i cant really be upset at this, given i would totally do it
(it was also difficult for them to produce the comic at this time)

im guessing you just started and yeah the first few chapters can be boring ( espcially if you arent familiar with AA already )

its get better after sometimes ( i know this sound generic as fck but really, the artstyle worldbuilding and all that gets a lot better later on )

LOL that’s the first time I’ve actually noticed the same image is used xD

(Spoiler for webcomic)

… this makes her and Angel even more uncomfortable, what-

That’s the major problem of having characters with child-like mental state, it gets hella weird when they’re in a relationship
