this is basically the buff light situation again
if the magics need a buff they will get some to fit accordingly, so magics don’t get tossed behind because it’s “bad”
stat wise i’ve seen it be fairly decent so far:
.75 in impact and dot dmg according to wom wiki which is fairly decent and this is ignoring synergies
and it got ok clashing which is sort of on par of light’s clash rates and light is doing fine on it’s own already
Mfs here have an incredible lack of common sense on what DoT does
right but a meta magic clears one of it’s main damage sources
actually, the meta magic literally hard counters it.
and it’s the ONLY MAGIC that can do that.

I think what he’s trying to say is, though it is supposed to deal damage over time, or per tick, it doesn’t do that much or it doesn’t do its job super well.
yea, but gold has immense impact damage, poison has 0.75.
please just like, think a little more before making a comparison like that?
it takes a long time to regen a gold blast, it takes less than a second to regen poison dot which is literally half the magics damage
it’s not the same thing.
An overall dmg of 1.2 vs 1.5, poison being almost twice as fast at a fairly even size
Say you regen at 10 hp a second at 1000 hp
My gold blast does 100 dmg +20 from bleed
My poison blast does 75 dmg +75 dmg from poison
After 20 seconds how much hp do you have in each scenario?
