What issues exactly?

AO currently has exploiters that are currently:

  • Banning others from the game thar are below max level due to a negative hours exploit

  • Inventory stealing exploit

  • Unholy amounts of renown

  • 500k+ hours exploit on players

  • exploiters giving them selves adminstrator title

  • Unholy amounts of duped items

(All of this is currently going on)

Pretty sure vetex said that the inventory stealing exploit was fixed in new servers. Idk abt anything else though

vetex just gave some good points on why the issue isnt actually that large

  1. banning people (we can just unban them after this, also just gives players break time lol)
  2. inventory stealing (fixed)
  3. renown (we can restore renown with proof, but renowns probably getting wiped again anyways)
  4. hours: relates to the first one, not that big much of an issue
    5 & 6. exploiters duping/giving themselves items: unsure. we havent seen any more of this, probably the biggest issue but we havent recieved video proof (from what i know) other than the dev title, which is just funny

Seeing as they can change the stats of other players, I assume they can set the condition for the developer title from false to true

Kinda has to happen with the renown exploit going on. Only other option is to restore glitched renown to what the player had before, but not everyone has screenshots of their renown, so this is just a better option
