So as you know phoenix magic is a mutation of fire magic and possibly wind magic which are orange and white flames that take the form of wings that also have affinities for wind and healing I’ve been wondering what this means gameplay wise.
I remember back in AA Theos could use a wind-like spell on you known as Phoenix Wing Flap
So I wonder how this could work in game
Will it be an option for Phoenix magic where you can edit your spells to either have fire, wind or healing attributes
Or will it be an all in one thing where the flames inflict burn and knock back and if they hit anyone in your party they heal
I don’t know why, but my gut tells me that there will be a lost “heal” spell, and each magic will have it’s own healing affinity. (Probably because vetex said that every magic can heal). Phoenix will just have a very high healing affinity.
As for the wind part, I have little clue. I would more likely expect fire that has knockback, but it could just be a way of saying that it is a wind and fire mutation.
Do you think it would have better start efficiency than regular magic? I would guess that Phoenix would give our regeneration, because what else is a Phoenix known for?
Another thing that really gets me thinking is what would Gravity Magic’s Dodge reflex be? From what we have now, I’m not sure placing it is obvious, but there is an argument for instant (wind mutation).
