When player reach level 35, they new option for Explosion spell, “Explosion Type”. Which give you access to anothe 2 type of explosion: Shockwave and Pillar. Most people perfer staying with Sphere type explosion, or the change settings for shockwave, because it easier to hit enemies with Shockwave, but…Have you ever see someone usin Pillar Explosion without memeing it?
Personally i - no.
More about Types of explosion
Sphere is the golden standar, nothing to say here, not to wide not to tall

Shockwave is type of an explosion that specified on range of attack (not height). I see many player using it and i can understand them, currently its best type of explosion because people dont have this much velocity spells other than high jump spells, soo spell that cover large amount of flat space is good option.

Pillar…well…type of explosion that specified on height of attack and somehow, it deals a little bit more damage than every other type of spells (Pillar > Sphere > Shockwave). The interesting part with all of it its the height of pillar explosion…Just look at the gif…

Holy moly is’nt it like too big?
Size of the Earths Pillar explosion is: 1 large tree + Fully charged T jump on top of it…
Ye of course, Earth with Water and Explosion have the high size out of all magics (1.3x) but still, is’nt it like too big?
And about Explosion magic…Explosion magic have unque model for Pillar explosion resembeling nucler mushroom, and just look at size of it.

Mmmm cool…But useless…Because you would rarely need to get opponent from the sky, and we still kinda have other spells that does it better, blast or sphere explosion…
Conclusion.
Pillar is kinda usless because Pillar exist for only one thing: damageing enemies that are have high ground, but you kinda have other spells that can, or give you the same high ground, or attack your enemies even from lower ground.
I kinda wish of some buff or something like that, but it wont happen 100%. Pillar cool visually, escpecailly on Explosion magic, but as combat spell its terrible…
