If you see them in your server, just, understand what you’re in for.
Phase 1, original post: I worked for 2 hours while the original two PvPed at Munera, and seeing as they were potential claim threats, I asked if they wanted to claim an island and both said they didn’t care about Infamy.
Despite this, when the Grand Navy’s influence became dangerously low, they sailed on over and merced me.
Phase 2, add-on to the original post when I realized I forgot to press ‘create topic’: they both thought Silverhold was glitched, but Influence was just over 20%, so they both left before I arrived back with my friend. I claimed it and swam away with my diving set because my Brig was destroyed, but while messaging Pixl3000 to rub it in, a giant ass shark came and did 830 FUCKING damage to me in one bite before eating ms. (Lesson learned - use sharkrepel potions)
Phase 3: They ended up claiming it, the aftermath of which can be seen in the post’s solution. However, they did ruin my later reclaim opportunity in the server, so they’ve taken away a lot.
They gained very little because of this but wasted a substantial amount of my time; people like them are why I’ve dedicated this clan to claim defense. They pivoted to the ‘it’s just a game’ defense when I got angry at them, which I never got to properly respond to without tags. Yeah, it’s just a game; a game in which you decided to take the fruit of 2 hours of in-game labor away from someone for no reason other than personal gain. Those which you could have spent, instead of ruining someone else’s experience. One of them used Sailor Style Juggernaut, too, which is the pinnacle build for people mediocre at the game. Vetex, why the fuck did you make Spirit Energy based on lightning damage? Anyway, rant over. Make sure to stick it to the assholes and don’t become one yourself.
(However, I do have a double-standard on this issue when it comes to wars on Goethic… as a means of intervention. By doing this, you may help someone touch grass.)
