To what i’ve seen, the discussion is carried by the ones who voted No hating on Vetex while another part is suggesting more colors.
the people who voted no didn’t do it because they hate vetex, and they want more colours too, we just don’t want to lose the colours we’re currently using right now

True and not true, there’s a small portion that did throw some insults, but most of em do want more colors
there’ll always be some idiots who overreact over changes like this, they certainly can’t be the majority though

why does vetex have to replace existing ones???
hair dye is very expensive
honestly yeah
like personally I ALWAYS pick blue hair for my character hair color option
now it just feels weird when I don’t have my character hair be blue
I mean if they focus on replacing the least popular hair colors sure I’d be alright with it
But adding more just seems like a better option

Exactly. So I’m not sure why Vetex is going for the “realism” argument.
The idea is that there will only be a fwe available colors or something, dont know why it cant just open a menu like the shirt select tho

I don’t think that’s what he meant, but rather that there aren’t many hair colours that are actually realistic in the game. He isn’t talking about there being too many unrealistic colours but rather about there being very little hair colours that are realistic.
I’m guessing that there just isn’t enough ui space for hair colour, which is kind of a dumb excuse tbh.
I’m pretty sure Vetex doesn’t feel like reworking whatever code he has that assigns random hairs or the character creation ui.
That has to be the reason for not adding more hair colors.
(And if most of the playerbase doesn’t care were are going to lose colors.)
