Plasma Conjerer build help

Hello! This is my first time interacting with the Forms, and im a Plasma Conjerer with near 500 hours of playtime. With terrible PVP experience, and I wish to get into it a little bit. Especially with the Clan update coming.

I have a build I’m trying to make, and I got as close to it as I could
But, for my weapons. Im not sure what weapons, with what skills I should use

My kai Sabre has:
Flash strike
flying Pheniox
Flying slash
Shining cycle

iron staff:
Piercing gale
Sparrow thrust
Knocking Blitz

great axe:
Whirlwind (gonna try it with Tempest)
Mountain wind
Striking gale

Any suggestions on my weapons or armor? Ive been told the armor set is fine (once I complete it) im just not sure what weapons I could use.
I dont have sunken sword, ive considered poison tooth dagger

Replace Whirlwind with Raging Impact instead of Tempest, a little faster, nearly the same AOE, and way more damaging.
Otherwise thats a pretty good setup.

See I’m so glad I never decided to use insanity, I don’t want that constant effect messing my gameplay

But I made the mistake with drawback…I used drawback for 8 months and when I finally stopped I realized how much worse it had been making me😭

Yea ngl air capacity is definitely a weird one I’d rather put blocking power if you’re not gonna do energy regen, but I do NOT feel like getting the luck potions to max out all my sub stats, he’ll survive

The Insanity only really becomes annoying while im underwater. Specificlly when its nighttime. Plus, it gives me an extra 10 or so power.

And I did air capacity because I dont have much energy eco problems, though I HAVE been considering going to around 50% air cap and some energy regen
or Blocking.
When Intensity gets nuked I was probably gonna invest in the new intensity gems tho

In my defense. With Air cap I can do diving spots 100x easier.
that and seaweed is easy to get in high ammounts

@cosmos I have considered dropping to around 50 air cap and upping my blocking power, or even my energy regen a tiny ammount

no i mean, i get it, 100% air cap means infinite waterbreathing, but imo it should be more ‘distributed’, maybe more terrain damage because from what ive heard, plasma has terrible terrain dmg

is it really worth it?

2, i apologise for being rude, I just get really triggered when I don’t see max jewel substats with ‘good’ or ‘complete’ builds

Oh don’t worry man, I found it all as a positive funny criticism.
I definitely do plan to max out my Gems. But I’ve been more focused on getting the modified items to finish the armor pieces on my build.
I definitely am going to, at some point. get more blocking power or a liiittle bit of Energy regen.
And when it comes to terrain damage. its truly only annoying when trying to kill Jellyfish, which Tempest from the Great sword fixes that. (I also dont see much of a reason for it outside of just Jellyfish. Terrain destruction doesn’t really mean much)
or attack knockback. May be decent? not sure. Probably best for wind users, not plasma

And to be honest, for the Insanity, not sure. Its really most annoying when underwater, especially at night. other than that, its mostly neglible.

And uh, What do you mean by “welcome to the club” video? that kinda needs some clarification.

my way to kill jellyfish is with canon fist, it has an ungodly amount of attack destruction

attack knockback affects all things, regardless of if they have base knockback or not

i cant find it, when I dont want to find it, i see it everywhere, but when i try to find it i dont see it

Well, when you see the video again. Should definetly keep it on you. And as a Plasma conj, I do not have such blessings of the cannoned fist.

So, would this be a good idea?
ive been kinda strugglin hard in PVP with AO ever since the Nimbus seas update to be entirely honest

wtf atlantean modifier is good… the tradeoff of 1 insanity for 10 power is absolutely nothing. if you can handle it, 2 insanity is also good. 3 and above is the point where it actually starts getting challenging to play with insanity. you guys are mad

Alantean is a personal preference. Some peeps like it, some dont.
I personally can tolerate insanity 1
and I think the actual number is like 10-12 or something. It gives a little more than 10 power. But I don’t have AO to actually double check

ig but for like non combat scenarios you could also swap out the atlantean piece for something more useful outside of combat

the only times id unequip it is when im at a diving spot. And id just take it off and call it good.

it gives 1 power per 10 levels the gear is iirc

currently it gives 14 power for Alantean

But terrain damage doesn’t really matter

Okay that’s not a bad idea, but if you do blocking power I’d say at least 25%
