Make dragons less miserable by just making the ritual page a GUARANTEE instead of a slightly heigtened chance from dragon nests after the introduction until u get it because EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME that i try to get a file’s ritual i end up killing like 30 dragons, not getting the page, and cant do the ritual for the dragon I BEAT

Or just make it a guarantee like shaadow said and make highlight the page so you can actually find it… in fact all pages should be highlighted as long as they are in your sight to make them ever so slightly to pick them up.
the issue is that cazal’s quest requires castaways, plus u need to be bounty to do it
they are highlight and usually easy to find in dragon areas, they are nearly impossible to find near sirens and arent even a gurantee there for some reason

my 2nd file that went for the ritual didn’t bother doing cazal’s quest and just ended, simply just kept doing the random islands that had a dragon or so on them just to never actually get the ritual
I think the more likely to obtain code instead got messed up into a not unless you have everything else code

your skill issue in collecting athena’s notes is.. not really a balancing issue, theres like 1/2 per island dude
i think you misunderstood this
the dragon blood ritual page (which is supposed to have a higher chance of being obtained compared to other pages if next to a dragon btw)
yet dispite that, the ritual page ended up being the very last one they got (i had the same experience despite having only ever obtained the pages from dragons on that file)
meaning they could have killed up to 30 dragons (if all young, possibly more since sometimes the pages get stuck under terrain) before getting the athena note that allows you to perform the dragon blood ritual
considering they did kill a powerful one though, they were prob exaggerating the 30 kills, but their point still stands considering the 30 pages to obtain the note that was supposed to have a higher chance ended up having a negative chance instead
only the young dragon spots have a boosted chance, the dragon cliffs are normal rates
why tf only for the young dragons? (also still had the majority i went for being young dragons on that file, since it was my tank file that didn’t have the high dmg)
i killed apophis like 7 times before i actually got a ritual because i had dogshit rng and castaways were bugged for like 3 months
