Im making this a topic because i have questions and im confused. So ive been looking for a poison jaws shark to kill for the rare wep drop but i can never find one. Forget finding one, ive never seen one in 70 hours of my gameplay. The trello says they are more common than white eyes but i have seen 20 more white eyes than a poison jaws. Is there any particular method for searching sharks that might help?
They are small, fast and dont loudly announce their presence like white eyes does.
The only time i saw one was at frostmill where it kept going down into the deeper water and occasionally back up to bite, you might have to go diving or swim for a while.

they might be difficult to find because they’re actually closer to the size of a normal shark than a white eyes or megalodon i think

They’re very easy to confuse for normal sharks.
finally
i only knew poison jaws was there cause my ketch was being chased by a megalodon then a crypteos intercepted it but his boat sank. So i went over to try and help him and i saw he died to a poison jaws. Then i jumped in and killed it. It said i was eaten but i actually drowned. (no drop)
and for some reason, sharks are spawning in clusters which is weird.
