The plans for the maps have prolly changed A LOT, because 1. This map hasn’t been updated since October (when it was first shown), 2. There’s a lot of suggestions for what we would like to see on the map on this post that Vetex created:
I live in a desert so being in one would sure feel like home. Also if there are not any temples imma be mad.
Imo I think that canyon biomes would be the most diverse and fun biomes to explore and fight in. Simply because canyons are very up and down and such.
Canyons would be hell for me ngl, I really enjoy fighting on flat ground.

Just realized that Mount Seawatch is the only “Mountain” area on the whole map.
well that’s probably not going to be the case forever.
Note that we cannot see any bodies of water at all outside of the current playable area and the area vetex has hinted to be making next.
I suspect the same will be true for other similar things like mountains.
Vetex said on twitter that the map is not finalized. He has only completely finished planning the south eastern part of the map. That is why the only mountains and rivers are near the east peninsula.
Deserts feel the most spooky when you’re alone at night and are great spots for fossils irl

Eh mountainish areas only made of giant cubes sound really annoying to explore, gotta use your high jump at every step.
I’m really interested in how vetex will tackle the jungle biome, not to mention where he’d put the chests as well
