Replace Agility with a stat called Dexterity that affects startup and endlag. Attack Speed is buffed to compensate for only affecting projectile speed, and base movespeed per level is increased (0.1%/level → 0.25%/level).
Details/background on your proposal
Agility causes a lot of issues for the game. In PvP, it’s a necessity, because whoever has the higher stat controls the fight. In PvE, it’s a necessity, because it’s required to climb high Dark Sea islands and run from high level enemies.
My proposal is to replace agility with a stat named Dexterity which affects startup and endlag (maybe only startup?) and to buff Attack Speed’s projectile speed boost.
Furthermore, base movespeed per level should be increased to compensate for the lack of agility. I propose a buff to 0.25% from 0.1%, as that would increase movespeed from a 14% buff at level 140 to a 35% buff. This would cause an agility increase for high level players while not being obscenely overpowered for low level players.
Reason to add/change
As previously mentioned, agility is a hot topic and Vetex himself wants to remove it but can’t because of the backlash.
I think that this rework will alleviate backlash, as it will help the PvErs (who will not fully suffer from this, as they will move faster by default) and the PvPers (who will now have a more equal experience).
Moreover, this will help Attack Speed as it will now only affect projectile speed, and will be subject to fewer nerfs from the balance team.

-improves agility for those who don’t use it

-may still result in some backlash
-high agility builds may need to be rebuilt
Now, me personally, I would prefer this as a replacement to Piercing. It’s conceptually unrelated, but this isn’t related to agility either.
I don’t want agility gone, its problems are shared with every other stat, so it’s unfair to just get rid of this one.
I mean, aside from being the bane of gankers, which is honestly more of a boon to me.
This sounds like a neat stat, fits well with Intensity’s change.
People think this is mid but I unironically think this could work, but we should also split attack speed again. We’ll have projectile speed and Dexterity (casting speed’s replacement)

This should just be one of those experimental changes and if it doesn’t work then it gets reverted.
This is a pretty good concept for IF agility gets removed.
Vetex actually needs to do something about the agility situation (never happening atp) and try to come up with a solution (other than constant scaling nerfs) for people being able to win against anyone using agility by endlessly running.
The pve players will cry and suffer, the pvp players will get mad and the meta will now be just spamming dexterity, power and defense, i don’t think this is balanced in any way, even tho it makes the game’s pvp less painful, the problem in agility builds in pvp is that people simply can just run and get away from any encounter with enough of that start, and also the insane mobility of this game’s system makes them obscenely agile and I just don’t know what to add more this is unfathomably game changing and it doesn’t seem any good for the game’s pve, maybe a little for pvp I guess but still, agility is still often an expensive stat to have on builds, so you have to compensate (1 star on reasonability because i can’t put 0 grr!!)
