I can’t help but feel as if my point hasn’t gotten across:
Sifr can warp only the environment when he closes his eyes with his body acting as the center of the change, meaning that his ability is only useful outside of combat during the first third of the tournament.
Of course, his item can empower it by increasing his reaction speed to inhumane levels (allowing for precise reality-warping to take place), but that’s at the cost of his life all while only being available past the second match.
Worst of all, I don’t think he’d be able to create anything that would “move” while using it, meaning that it isn’t a mean of attack but of defense (as he would be able to make traps).
Being able to summon lasers from other parts of my body might be a nice defensive ability, but only in close range, which is where I don’t want to be anyway. At long range, it doesn’t really matter what part of my body the lasers come from, and if any part of my body would need to be exposed, my eyes would, so that I can see. I don’t agree with the ranking, but I agree that I’d be in the lower half, so I’ll change my ability a little bit
Since it’s not already clear what properties my lasers would have that differ from real lasers, I would choose a buff that gives them clearer, more powerful properties:
my “lasers” would just be beams that erase matter from existence at a rate of a certain number of kilograms per second. They don’t generate heat
they only affect solids, including large particles suspended in fluids. They pass harmlessly through any fluid, whether opaque or not. Solids that are transparent or that reflect light would still be affected
they move at the speed of light
I can choose to make any solid or part of a solid reflective to them. I would do this by choosing an area, and any solid in that area would be affected. I can also make non-reflective a solid that I previously made reflective, again by choosing an area
the beams are scattered if they reflect off of rough surfaces or round surfaces, just like light
the beams are invisible, but when they destroy solids, they may make noise because of fluids being sucked in to fill the space, or for other reasons
and I also want this
I have a 6th sense that tells me exactly where the beams are at any time, but I don’t have instant reaction speed, so I can miss something if it happens too fast. If the beams are scattered, I still know where they are, so if I make a whole room and everything in it reflective, and then let the beams scatter many times, and they fill the whole room, then I can know where everything in the room is by knowing what spaces the beams didn’t occupy. However, as the beams become more diffuse, it becomes harder to distinguish between spaces occupied by beams, and spaces not occupied by beams. In exchange for this sense, I have no other senses, so I have almost no way of knowing about fluid-based attacks like from dubious’s water pokemon
