priority status move that negates all effects from incoming attacks
what’s the catch
I just can’t spam it over and over again
but in the times when going for the protect is a risky play I can always just use amnesia (psychic type status move that sharply raises my ranged defense by 2 stages) to tank incoming lasers, and then I can go back to using protect or a healing move to egain HP
how strong would an attack need to be to one shot you while your defense is raised
nothing you could manage 
actually now that I think about it, it’d be hilarious if I could use the generational gimmicks…
