I do not keep up with guilds. I don’t know what kind there are, I don’t know how many there are. I do know about the infamous ones (would list examples but I forgot their names) but only barely. Anyways I should get to the point of this message.
I have no interest in starting a guild, nor being apart of one, but here are some guild ideas that I thought people should look into making. These guilds will primarily be non-PvP based since PvP guilds are probably the most common kind.
Fishing Guilds - People who just collect fish. Golden fish are treasures to them and they don’t even want to sell them. They work on collecting every fish in the game.
Merchant Guilds - I believe two guilds like this exist already but since there is only 2 of them compared to the, like, 10+ pvp ones I think it’s safe to say some more wouldn’t hurt. Competition isn’t bad after all either.
Scholar Guilds - People primarily focused on learning everything they can about the lore and mechanics of the game. They could maybe use this knowledge for good or evil, or just be neutral idc I’m not their mom.
Archaeological Guilds - Kind of like a variant of the Scholar Guilds, they just focus on bringing the past back. Maybe they’ll collect scrolls exclusively, along with other rare items. Unlike Merchants they do not collect to sell, but to preserve.
Tailor Guilds - Focused on finding the best outfit, though not for combat. Could also be called fashion guilds.
Family Guilds - I can see this one being a potential guild that people will probably do without anyone suggesting it. There might already be one of these but hey, I don’t know about it. These guilds are just comprised of people with the same surname. Maybe they’re kind of like a sub-guild so that a player can be in this and another one? Don’t know.
Overall I think a bit of diversity in guilds could help. I don’t see why there needs to be more than 10 guilds that are all basically the same with different reputation. I’d like to see things spiced up and people work towards goals that aren’t killing each other.
Alright that’s it, peace.
