what do u guys think about potions (in pvp)
impossible to use with anything that isn’t a drinkable or gel
Outside of specific Surge jank, I’d say potions are much less oppressive in world PvP since last patch. Buffs are strong, Throwables are still a little weak but can certainly be made to work with effort (Shining Harming 5 throwables are tank-melters), and Gels are fine with certain exceptions.
I don’t think anything really needs changing in its current state, aside from Surge being able to activate Gel effects. Renown is now purely cosmetic, so future changes will likely be QoL-only unless something is too overbearing.

use every resource you have to survive. it’s that simple.
obviously a little lame in organized environments but if both parties agree it could be cool I guess
also what’s the consensus on ship potions? I’ve literally never seen one
i feel this, except that wind pots and love gels need a huge nerf u can literally avoid every fight with love gels
that’s the whole point though

I don’t mind it at all really, if they use love gels well alright I guess you win, 10 minute duration and what not and they leave my fault that I didn’t prepare.
But screw you regardless if your using slowness gels, I don’t care if it’s an insignificant tier 1 I still hate you.

Way too much endlag and too hard to land for what’s it worth.

since i have no way to freeze/paralyze as a water conjurer gels are a good way to make up for that if i have one on hand

Potions are for cowards who want can’t afford losing their 2million fame and have to spam heal then spam EZ and L when I die
^ probably just lost a hunt to potions
I’ve been thru like 100 hunts where I was on the verge of victory and the dude healed himself
And I still won half of them
