POV: You're one of the Ravenna Nobles with dark secrets that no one knows... Doodle, Juliet Midas

don’t understimate human minds when it comes to innovations.

Dawg, human innovation has stagnated because of magic

me when historical inaccuracy :face_with_hand_over_mouth: (time to find when the model of the typewriter she’s holding came out)

looking at the shape and the mechanism… this typewriter actually resembles something more akin to the 1873 model invented by the Remington Company. :face_with_monocle:

who knows… I just put it there since it’s the easiest to draw.

(in other words, she has a typewriter that doesn’t exist and logically should not exist)

And brother, its the easiest to doodle for a while. Let her have her typewriter exists in peace.

I’m going to pretend like I understood that

Wait is the first drawing of her while alive or as a ghost?

As a ghost, she already died a long time ago. Now spending time with so many unfinished business that she decides to haunt a certain librarian to pass time.

So then its absolutely possible that she took it from future times @DubiousLittleTyp0

ghost time travel?!

(how far into the future can she go )

No, she died and as time passed people made better tech, including the typewriter

so she’s from an AU I assume

i dont get it

That’s her anonymous editor and publisher, the reason why Juliet has so many books she wrote at the library she lived at. And there’s always a neverending work, just like in real life, there’s always neverending tasks to complete even one is dying (like trying to survive to live or living what remains in one’s time).

Ghost themselves are something can’t be perceived by science since they had no physical form or anything to observe about. So Juliet can time travel and go anywhere, hence the typewriter she had, but she’ll forget about most of those so quickly because she has no brain to form new memories, she was just under the self-loop that she wasn’t aware of everything like she doesn’t know how many years has it’s been since she died and where she was right now, but she’s aware of her death and her rooted anger that caused her to stay in the world even though she can leave. Possible an Earthbound spirits since they are said to have an unfinished business in most cultures, that in her case, the typewriter. But the definition of Earthbound spirit are different in each cultures.

In speaking to her memories, her prejudice of Ravenna stemmed before completely dying, then that’s why her works are centered against Ravenna. Though, it’s keeps repeating that the editor had to revise it with the current events, they can’t just tell her things since she’ll forget it completely all over again and it’s too tiring to say things again and again. There’ll be time she’ll come back while still remembered things, and she’ll just be quick to use typewriter.

She can remember some things because of the things she wrote, even though she doesn’t remember, including her editor. Always mistaken someone for someone she knew, the painful feelings of being ignored and sudden realization, like existential dread, are there but she’ll forget them.

It’s just a miracle that she remembered the blueprint of a typewriter, only the older version before the vintage one. The reason why she had that because her editor, mostly lived by themselves in peace that they’re just bored themselves to death. They only had the Johannes Gutenberg’s printing press version, and the materials of the printing press has a remains of Juliet in it, so she can use the printing press. Since they mostly lived in peace, forced isolation, boredom then leading them to create things, and Juliet already used the printing press to vaguely show the image of the typewriter, led to her Editor to make the typewriter, through trial and error. Hence, they used their printing press (remaking) to make the typewriter Juliet had, then just covered it with design since they’re worried for the dust to prevent it from working. Therefore, only the typewriter she had are she can only use.

She communicate to her editor, though introduction and conversation kept repeating everyday.

Only the editor are aware of the world, while Juliet wasn’t.

The editor’s survival rate are high due to their luck, at the expanse of their freedom.

Juliet also forgot that she’s the reason why she has her own typewriter and the reason why she kept staying at the library.

And she can’t bring the typewriter anywhere since the editor tied it to the place where she’ll be okay to write things. Due to them being worried that she might bring them somewhere and forget about the typewriter.

Don’t worry, before she forgets things, she’ll come back since that’s the first thing her editor says everytime they introduced themselves to her.

And the reason why of her hatred to Ravenna, because the editor told her about it. And it’s a wonder of how the editor knew things.

the agora must love her
